Academy of Adoption and Assisted Reproduction Attorneys
The Academy of Adoption and Assisted Reproduction Attorneys (AAAA) is an organization established in the United States, composed of approximately 470 highly qualified attorneys from around the world dedicated to the competent and ethical practice of adoption and assisted reproduction law.
The AAAA is an accredited nonprofit organization of lawyers, judges, and legal professionals committed to the competent and ethical practice of adoption and assisted reproduction. Its mission is to advocate for laws and policies that protect the best interests of children, the legal status of families formed through adoption and assisted reproduction, and the rights of all parties involved.
Beatriz Huerga is part of this exclusive group of professionals, working alongside other members to promote the recognition of families and ethical practices, attending and participating in the conventions organized by the AAAA several times a year.
American Bar Association
The American Bar Association promotes the highest quality legal education, competence, ethical conduct, and professionalism, as well as public service and pro bono work within the legal profession.
Additionally, it encourages full and equal participation in the association and the justice system for all individuals, eliminating bias within the legal profession and the justice system.
Finally, it has working groups on specific areas of law, with surrogacy falling under its Family Law Group, of which we are members, staying up to date with any developments and attending its annual events.
European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE)
The primary goal of the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) is to promote interest in and understanding of reproductive biology and medicine.
ESHRE collaborates globally and advocates for universal improvements in scientific research and the harmonization of clinical practice. It also provides guidance to enhance safety and quality assurance in clinical and laboratory procedures, recognizing infertility as a significant health issue.
ESHRE also works with policymakers and legislators across Europe. Its commitment to lawmakers is to advocate for better policies for individuals affected by infertility and for professionals involved in medically assisted reproduction.
